Marisa Mazzoni, born in the Mugello, lives and works in the heart of Florence. At present she is an administrative manager for a local company which specializes in accounting revision and management. An expert in selection and training of personnel in Human Resources, she is considered a ‘bon ton’ expert for company managers and organizer of meetings and conferences particularly for women entrepreneurs.
Always interested in the contemporary development and evolution of the professional role of women, she has acted also as President of F.i.d.a.p.a. Arno - Firenze (Federazione italiana donne arte professioni affari). She participated in the Congress for the emancipation of women of the European Parliament in Strasburg and in various television transmissions. Currently she is active in the promotions of women’s cultural exchange Italy- USA.
Published fiction writer, she has won various awards with her books: “Io che amo le pellicce”, “L’ombra della magnolia” and the short story“Il campo di grano”. With her novel,“Via del merlo bianco”, she was awarded the national prize for literature “Parmenide” (sec. women) with official recognition in the ‘parmenidea’ encyclopedia.
